About The Class

Yummy Mummy bodies offer classes for women who have just had a baby and are looking to regain their pre pregnancy body. The classes are designed to be a fun workout for both you and your baby but at the same time challenging. The class is held in a well equipped studio which also has a créche facility should you choose to workout without your baby. Babies are of course welcome in the classes and there is always a fun element for them too.

The class is a mixture of cardiovascular and resistance exercises specially designed to help achieve the results you want. Free weights, swiss balls, steps and bars are used in some of the exercises.

About Geraldine

Prior to having my son in February 2011 I had worked as a Physical Education Teacher and Personal Trainer for 12 years. After the birth of my son I found it incredibly difficult to exercise in a gym as most didn't have a créche and those that did I wasn't comfortable leaving my son in. I decided that I would create my own classes where mums could come with their babies and exercise with other like-minded people. My background as a teacher and Personal Trainer together with my pre and postnatal qualifications has meant that I can help mums to achieve their fitness goals in a safe and fun environment.

The classes are not only Mummy based but there is something in each class for the babies too! Why not get your antenatal group, NCT group, or friends to come along to meet up and work out together? You can then all motivate each other to come along and exercise regularly.
